            <text>James Edward Miller, 86, of Waterloo, Ohio passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Buckeye Forrest at Jackson, Ohio.  James was born on December 24, 1936 in Lawrence County, Ohio, son of the late Jacob Atwood Miller and Martha Shepherd Miller (Meek). &#13;
&#13;
He was a proud United States Marine Corps Veteran, a life-long farmer, and a 55 year member of The Pipeliners Local Union #798.  James was married to Evelyn Ruth Lyall Miller for 60 years; and she preceded him in death on May 9, 2016.  In addition to his parents and wife, James was preceded in death by a son Raymond Lee Miller; two brothers Ivan "Bud" Miller and Gary Miller, his twin brother; and eight sisters, Grace Lyall, Mabel Severt, Bina Bostick, Helen Stadler, Bertha Bodimer Gilliland, Norma Cooper, Dorothy Bostick, and Ruth Miller.&#13;

James is survived by one son, James Justin (Janie) Miller of Vinton, Ohio; Granddaughters, Melissa (Trey) Kilpatrick of Mt. Olive, North Carolina and Heather Miller of Wilmington, North Carolina; Grandsons, Brandon Unroe and Brett (Jessica) Unroe of Vinton, Ohio; Great Grandchildren, Harper Hayes of Wilmington, North Carolina, Thomas "Tuck" Kilpatrick IV of Mt. Olive, North Carolina, Ethan, Karissa, La Marius, Lillionna, Brooke, and Rylee Unroe of Vinton, Ohio; one sister Janet Meek Shuff of Wheelersburg, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.&#13;
&#13;
The funeral service for James will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Miller officiating.   His burial will follow in Flagsprings Cemetery.  Friends may call on Tuesday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.  Military rites will be given at the graveside by the Gallia County Funeral Detail.</text>
