            <text>Arlene F. Hornsby, 68, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at OSU Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio  Arlene was born on April 27, 1955 in Gallia County, daughter of the late Clarence and Lucy Halley.  She was a homemaker and loved being around her family.&#13;
&#13;
Arlene is survived by her children, one daughter, Violet Gardner of Thurman, Ohio and two sons, Robert (Leanna) Hornsby of Crown City and John (Christie) Hornsby of Gallipolis; grandchildren, Kelsey (Damian) Allerheiligen, Kansas Gardner, Alicia Hornsby, Dustin (Caitlyn) Hornsby, Olivia Hornsby, Sydni Hornsby, and Sean Hornsby; great grandchildren, Landon Allerheiligen, Aldon Allerheiligen, Khaleesi Gardner, Anavrin Hornsby, Caden Hornsby, and Ariott Hornsby-Williams; three sisters, Patricia (Ivan) Beaver, Christine Montgomery, and Karen (Mark) Siders; and several nieces and nephews.  Arlene was preceded in death by four brothers, Franklin Halley, Everett Halley, Paul Halley, and Jimmy Halley and five sisters, Lula Mae Green, Rosalie Beaver, Norma Jean Shaver, Ruth Halley, and Mary Fitchpatrick.&#13;
&#13;
The funeral service for Arlene will be held at 1:00 p.m. on August 8, 2023 at Willis Funeral Home.  Her burial will follow in Mina Chapel Cemetery.  Friends may call on Tuesday from noon until the time of the service prior to the funeral.</text>
