            <text>Rj Christopher Springer, 31, of Gallipolis, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at the Cabell-Huntington Hospital after a battle with pancreatic cancer.  Rj was born on November 2, 1991 in Gallia County, Ohio, son of Trudy Brown Springer and Ronnie Springer, Jr., both of Crown City, Ohio.&#13;
&#13;
Rj was a graduate of Gallia Academy High School and Buckeye Hills Career Center. Rj enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and deer hunting. He was very knowledgeable about Ford Trucks.  He worked in the family's tent business and for Bidwell Trustworthy Hardware.&#13;
&#13;
He was married to Megan Mahan Springer on October 24, 2014; and she survives him in Gallipolis, Ohio.  Rj has three sons, Rylan and Jayden Springer at home and BayLee Johnson of Wellston, Ohio; two sisters, Tessa Springer and Tracy Miller both of Crown City; maternal grandparents, Ralph and Barbara Brown of Crown City; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Becky and Scott Mahan of Gallipolis; sister-in-law, Heather (Christian) Kearns of Wellston; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Ronnie Springer, Sr. and Rosella Springer.&#13;

The funeral service for Rj will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 28, 2023 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Bynum officiating.  His burial will follow in Campaign Cemetery.  Friends may call prior to the funeral at the funeral home from noon until 1:00 p.m.</text>
