            <text>Mayme Ellen Saunders, 80, of Vinton, Ohio passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023 at her son’s residence in Columbus, Ohio.&#13;
&#13;
Born on December 28, 1942 in Southside, West Virginia, Ellen was the daughter of the late Elmer and Pearl Viola Hudson Fowler.  Ellen was married to her husband Jesse Wayne Saunders of Vinton, Ohio for 60 years.  She was a claim adjustor for Nationwide Insurance.  Ellen enjoyed gardening, painting, and bike riding.   &#13;

Ellen is survived by her husband, Wayne Saunders of Vinton; son, Jeff (Jennifer) Saunders of Columbus, Ohio; daughter, Kathy (Tara Dickert) Saunders of Columbus, Ohio; grandsons, Dylan Saunders, Noah Saunders, and Christopher (Amber) Pack; great grandson, Corvin Pack; sisters, Freda Marsh of Jane, Missouri and Ruth Ann (Robert) Copley of Thurman, Ohio; brothers, Clarence (Abby) Fowler of Ironton, Ohio, Carl (Evelyn) Fowler of Crown City, Ohio, Harold (Reda) Fowler of Bidwell, Ohio, and David (Charmaine) Fowler of Columbus, Ohio; and step brother, Terry Sanders.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to her parents, Ellen was preceded in death by a stepmother, Idell Sanders Fowler.&#13;
&#13;
The funeral service for Ellen will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, September 18, 2023 at Providence Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Sanders officiating.  Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery.  Friends and family may call prior to the service Monday from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the church</text>
