Linda Deckard Betz, 76, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023 at her residence with her family.
Born on October 23, 1947 in Gallipolis, Ohio, Linda was the daughter of the late Elbert Kendall and Zella Lavena Harrison Deckard. Linda was a graduate of Gallia Academy High School Class of 1965 and was a former insurance agent. She loved traveling to the mountains and the beach, and she loved her grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her daughters, Angie (Jason) Betz-Liberati of Gallipolis and Kim (Scott) Rayburn of Gallipolis; five grandchildren, Cody Wandling, Jacob Ratliff, Madison Ratliff, Matt Liberati, and Makenna Rayburn; two great grandchildren, Scarlett and Zayne Wandling; sister, Kathy Deckard of Point Pleasant, West Virginia; brother, Kenny Deckard of Gallipolis; nephew and niece, Dustin (Ashlee) Deckard and Meghan (Jared) Denney; and several great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Denise Scarberry and her former husband, Larry Betz.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
