            <text>Raymond Edgar “Ed” Gibson, 84, of Crown City, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Holzer Medical Center Emergency Room.&#13;
&#13;
Born on January 1, 1939 in Lawrence County, Ohio, Ed was the son of the late Robert and Shirley Holland Gibson. Ed married Sharon Anne Stapleton Gibson, who survives him in Crown City. He graduated from Chesapeake High School and retired from BASF Chemical in Huntington, West Virginia. Ed was a member of Kings Chapel Church and a former member of the Crown City Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.&#13;
&#13;
Ed is survived by his wife of nearly 25 years, Sharon Anne Gibson of Crown City; son, Scott (Donna) Gibson of Crown City; daughters, Stormy Gibson of Columbus, Ohio, Daphne (Andrew) Lawrence of Gallipolis, Andrea (Wade) Roberts of Gallipolis, and Courtney Barnett of Crown City; grandchildren, Wes Gibson, Kristin Lowe, Tobias Pasquale, Ashley Pasquale, Casey Lawrence, Jessica Roberts, Alexandrea Sabolsky, Katherine Zaayer, Jayden Rogers, and Haleigh Rogers; several great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Adkins of Pataskala, Ohio; and brother, Fred (Rose) Gibson of Columbus, Ohio.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters and his first wife, Mae Hesson Gibson.&#13;
&#13;
The funeral several for Ed will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Kings Chapel Church with Pastor Clyde Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow in Barnett Family Cemetery. Friends and family may call from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2023 at Willis Funeral Home.</text>
