            <text>Griff Clifton Cook, Jr., 84, of Bidwell, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at The Ohio State University Hospital.  &#13;
&#13;
He was born in Cadmus, Ohio on November 17, 1939 and attended Cadmus High School where he played basketball.  Most of his career, Griff worked as a supervisor at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and later at the Shell Chemical Plant in Apple Grove, West Virginia.&#13;
&#13;
He was preceded in death by his parents, Griff Clifton Cook Sr. and Edna and his sisters, Donita Simms and Bonnie Carter.&#13;
&#13;
Griff is survived by his wife, Pamala Cook of Bidwell; sister, Peggy Bunsold of Marysville, OH; daughters, Annie Miller (Scott) of Virginia Beach, VA and Kris Mays (Mike) of Urbana, OH; four grandchildren, Katie Miller Sanders (Garrett), Ashlee Miller Upp (Justin), Corey Mays (Casey), and Nathan Mays (Alexandra); and five great grandchildren.&#13;
&#13;
He enjoyed retirement on his farm in Bidwell where he helped Pam care for a variety of animals, including his special friends, Keno and Koko.&#13;
&#13;
At Griff’s request, there will be no services.  He asks friends to share a story or memory with each other.  In Griff's memory please consider making a donation to Little Victories Animal Rescue, www.littlevictories.org, 3589 Wire Branch Road, Ona, WV 25545 or to a charity of your choice.  Willis Funeral Home is in care of the arrangements.</text>
