            <text>Betty L. Kemper, 94, of Middleport, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Holzer Medical Center.&#13;
&#13;
Born on November 3, 1929 in Gallipolis, Ohio, Betty was the daughter of the late James W. and Florence Collins Chandler.  Betty married Gordon W. Kemper, who preceded her in death on June 27, 2020.  A familiar face to many, Betty retired from Revco pharmacy.  She was a woman of faith.  &#13;
&#13;
Betty is survived by daughter, Kolleta (Rich) Fridley of Middleport; granddaughters, Megan Ihle (James) of Canal Winchester, Ohio and Courtney (Phillip) Morehead of Westerville, Ohio; great grandson, Creek Ihle; great granddaughter, Corinna Morehead; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to her parents and her husband Gordon, Betty was preceded in death by a brother, James F. “Sonny” Chandler and sisters, Elizabeth Underwood and Vivienne Trowbridge.&#13;
&#13;
The funeral service for Betty will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron Young officiating.  Friends may call prior to the service Friday from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will be later in Ohio Valley Memory Gardens at the convenience of the family.&#13;

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Meigs County Council on Aging Meals on Wheels, 100 Blakeslee Drive, Middleport, Ohio  45760.  </text>
