            <text>Eugene “Geno” Johnson III, age 44, of Gallipolis, died Sunday June 18, 2023 in Huntington, WV. Born November 27, 1978 in Gallipolis, he was the son of Eugene Johnson Jr. and Lisa Gale Ratcliff Francisco. He was preceded in death by his wife; Nina Faye Barker Johnson and by his son; Isaiah Johnson.&#13;
&#13;
Geno was an amazing husband, father, son, brother and had a heart of gold. He never met a stranger and loved his family. Geno was a big jokester and loved anything with a wheel on it, whether it was a car or a motorcycle.&#13;
&#13;
He is survived by his parents; Eugene (Glenna) Johnson Jr. of Crown City and Lisa Gale (Norman Brumfield) Francisco of Crown City; daughter; Shayla Johnson of Gallipolis; sisters; Tanya Johnson of Gallipolis, Tina (Tony) Callicoat of Crown City, Samantha (Chris) Swim of Crown City, and Stacy (Smokey) Johnson of Crown City; step brother; Ed (Michelle) Francisco of Crown City, and 2 step sisters; Karenda (Kenny) Vance of Vinton, and Kim (Tim) Meade of Holly, Michigan. Geno is also survived by numerous extended family members and a host of friends.&#13;
&#13;
Funeral services will be 12:00 PM. Sunday June 25, 2023 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Workman officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgelawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 10:00 AM. till 12:00 PM.&#13;
&#13;
Pallbearers will be: Shayla Johnson, Dirk Bartrum, Tony Callicoat, Chris Swim, Chris Wolfe, Billy White, Mike Rowland, and Justin Johnson.</text>
