            <text>David Michael Wayne Stepp, age 11, of Mercerville, Ohio was called home on Monday June 26, 2023 to join his Heavenly Father. David was born on January 24, 2012 in Pikeville, KY, he is the son of Rebecca Fulks and Roger Bowen of Mercerville, Ohio. &#13;
&#13;
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his older brother, Landon Stepp of Mercerville, Ohio; 2 sisters, Jordan Alfman of Jackson, Ohio, and Jersey Bowen of Cheshire, Ohio. He was a grandson, nephew, cousin, uncle, and friend to many.&#13;
&#13;
Our beloved and adventurous boy loved the great outdoors and sports. If you knew David, he always had a ball or fishing pole in his hand. He was a champion wrestler 3 years running for South Gallia Youth Wrestling. David was a 2023 graduate of the 5th grade at Hannan Trace Elementary, where he was loved and encouraged to reach his goals.&#13;
&#13;
Our loving boy leaves behind so many loved ones and lives that he touched in his short time here. He will be missed always and his memory will live on in the lives his sweet soul impacted.&#13;
&#13;
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM. Monday July 3, 2023 at the Mercerville Baptist Church with Dakota Wroten officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgelawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Monday from 11:00 AM. to 2:00 PM.&#13;
&#13;
Pallbearers will be Davids’s brother, father, and uncles. Honorary pallbearers will be David’s buddies.&#13;
&#13;
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Landon Stepp’s college fund.&#13;
&#13;
Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home is assisting the family.</text>
