            <text>Barbara A. McCumber, Ellcessor, Benedict, age 87, of Gallipolis died Sunday July 23, 2023 at Holzer Medical Center. Born August 15, 1935 in Gallia County (Clay Township), she was the daughter of the late Raymond Eddie Cox and Ethel F. Kuhn  In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband; Deryl Ellcessor, 2 half-brothers, 1 half-sister, and by 1 nephew.&#13;
&#13;
Barbara retired from GDC, where she worked as a custodian.&#13;
&#13;
Barbara is survived by her sister, Virginia Layne of Pt. Pleasant, 2 half-sisters, Midge (Gary) Belomy of Huntington, and Lillian Steinbeck of Proctorville, 2 nephews, and by 1 niece.&#13;
&#13;
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Tuesday August 1, 2023 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Rev. Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 AM. till 1:00 PM.&#13;
