            <text>Thomas Leo “Tom” Wright, age 84 of Crown City, died Saturday morning November 4, 2023 at the Paramount Senior Living Center in Ona, WV. Born September 7, 1939 in Lawrence County, he was the son of the late Thomas Edmond Wright and Helen Mae Rossiter Wright Pickering. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife, Judith A. “Judy” Goldsberry Wright, step father, Phillip Pickering and a granddaughter, Samantha Wallace. &#13;

Tom was a retired Heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Operating Engineers, United Mine Workers and the Crown City Community Church. He was a former member of Crown City Masonic Lodge.&#13;

He is survived by his children, Tom (Karen) Wright of Gallipolis, Tim Wright of Crown City and Tammy (Tim Smith) Wright of Gallipolis, a brother, Edmond Lee (Diana) Wright of Crown City, a sister, Virginia Ruth Nickels of Proctorville, grandchildren, Sarah Jayne (Heath) Shirley, Glenna Sue (J.D.) Walker, Maggie Mae Wallace, Abigail Faith Wallace, Jack Daniel Queen, Timothy Scott (Toni) Wright, Angel Brook (Joey Lucas) Wright, great grandchildren, Arabella Walker, Eli Dore, Benson Shirley, Mason Shirley, Ethan Moody, Hunter Wright, Ean Combs and Layne Wright and Caspian Atticus McCloud.&#13;
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Tuesday November 7, 2023 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 -8:00 PM. </text>
