            <text>Phyllis Jean Kinder Burdette Daniels, age 85, of Gallipolis died Wednesday December 20, 2023 at Holzer Assisted Living. Born March 11, 1938 in Boone County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Frank Kinder and Bertha Kearns Kinder. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husbands; Billy Burdette and James Daniels; sisters; Doris Hoover Geraldine Castle; brothers; Dewey Kinder, Frank Kinder Jr., Jack Kinder, and Kenneth Kinder; and by a son-n-law, BJ Bainter.&#13;
&#13;
Phyllis’ legacy was to spread love, kindness, and compassion to everyone she ever met, and she never met anybody that was a stranger for very long, and she could light up a room. She dearly loved her kids, grandkids, great grandkids. She also enjoyed hunting arrowheads. Phyllis retired from GDC after 25 years of service.&#13;

She is survived by her children; James Earl (Judy Calvert) Burdette, Jeffery Lewis Daniels, Belinda Sue (John) Burnett, Billy Joe (Debbie) Burdette, and Kelly Renee Bainter; grandchildren; Henry Bailey, Joey Burdette, BJ (Tracey) Burdette, Ryan (Hannah) Burnett, Sheena De La Torre, Ashley (Scott) Nolan, Josh (Amber) Burnett, Tabitha (Brett Adkins) Estep, and Brittany Bainter; and by numerous great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters; Carol Perdue and Sue Ann Barker and a brother; Jerry Kinder.&#13;
&#13;
The family would like to send special thanks to all the staff at Holzer Assisted Living for the loving care Phyllis received.&#13;
&#13;
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Tuesday December 26, 2023 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Swan Creek Cemetery. Friends and family can call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM.&#13;

Pallbearers will be: BJ Burdette, Ryan Burnett, Josh Burnett, Andy Purdue, Brett Adkins, Joseph Gallo and Jeff Daniels.</text>
