            <text>Jason Donald Hershberger, age 41 of Bidwell, died Thursday December 21, 2023 from a car accident resulting from an epileptic seizure. Born November 8, 1982 in Columbus, he was the son of the late Glen Eldon Hershberger and Linda Sanders who survives. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Donald and Elise Sanders.&#13;
&#13;
Jason was a country boy at heart. He enjoyed morel mushroom hunting and dearly loved fishing and the outdoors. He also loved football, and was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Bengals and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He was a graduate of Meigs High School, and worked as an assistant manager at Arby’s in Gallipolis working the nightshift. He will be greatly missed by all his coworkers, who he considered family and he deeply cherished their friendships along with other close friends of his. A hole has been left in the hearts in everyone who knew him. His mother, Linda would like to express her gratitude to God for her time with him before releasing him back to the Lord.&#13;

He is survived by his mother, Linda Sanders of Mt. Sterling, his girlfriend, Jessica Blanton of Bidwell, 2 brothers, Shawn Rehl (Robert Myers) of Dublin and Dustin (Jennifer) Hershberger of Middleport, 5 nephews, William (Sarah) Hershberger, Zachary Hershberger, Adam Hershberger, Riley Hershberger and Alan Hershberger, aunts and uncles, Joe and Sandy Hershberger, uncle Bob, aunt Becky Headings and aunt Nila Peffers.&#13;

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday January 4, 2024 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Bowers officiating. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 -2:00 PM</text>
