            <text>Betty Lou Parsons, age 86 of Crown City died Sunday January 28, 2024 at Arbors at Gallipolis. She was born June 5, 1937 in Crown City to the late Emmett Waugh and Goldie Mooney Waugh. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her brothers, Wilburn Wayne Waugh, Otis Monroe Waugh, Calvin Ray Waugh and Gerald Loren Waugh; and by her sisters, Lou Ella Sheets and Welthia Jane Neal.&#13;
&#13;
Betty retired from the housekeeping department at the Central Ohio Psychiatric Hospital, after over 30 years of service. She was a member of the Welch Road Baptist Church and later Victory Baptist Church.&#13;
&#13;
Betty is survived by her husband, Norman Lee Parsons whom she married on September 2, 1959. &#13;
&#13;
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Friday February 2, 2024 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Unroe officiating. Burial will follow in the Victory Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM. till time of service. </text>
