            <text>Nicholas “Nick” King, 76, of Racine, passed away at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2023 in the Arbors at Pomeroy. Born May 5, 1947, in Henderson, West Virginia he was the son of the late Revna C. and Vada F. Lewis King. He was a Vietnam Air Force veteran.  After serving he started his career with the Ohio River Towboats as a chief engineer, he then worked for Lockheed as the chief inspector. He the moved on to the Ohio Department of Corrections and retried from there.&#13;
&#13;
He is survived by his children, Becky Sue Lawless, of California, Brandi (Jacob Davis) Lyons, of Middleport, Bobbi King, of Pomeroy, and Anna White, of Middleport, eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one more on the way, his partner of forty-eight years, Deborah Hunnel King, of Pomeroy. A sister, Patsy (Carol) Shinn, of Point Pleasant, WV., his best friend and also a nephew Frank Nelson Reynolds, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Brandon King, Grandson, Sean King, siblings, Kathrine Reynolds Smith, Revna (Ester) King, Charles (Bev) King, Velma (Alvie) Luckydoo, Emogene (Paul) Bailey, and James (Lana) King.&#13;
&#13;
The family will be having a memorial gathering from 4-6 p.m. on Saturday June 17, 2023, at the Racine American Legion all friends and family welcome to come. The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Racine is entrusted with the arrangements.</text>
