            <text>Lonnie McClellan, 86, of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, passed away at 4:10 a.m. Monday, June 19, 2023 at his residence. Born August 20, 1936 in Wayne County, West Virginia he was the son of the late John and Mae Fry McClellan. Lonnie was a self-employed logger and asphalt paver. He was an active harness racer.  Lonnie is survived by his wife, Cathy Knapp McClellan, his daughters, Debra McClellan, of Jackson, Ohio, Jodie Shawkey, of McArthur, Ohio, Lonette (Cory) Adkins, of Texas and Lona Sue Hardemon, of McArthur, Ohio, his sons, Darrell (Connie) McClellan, of Circleville, Ohio, Daniel McClellan, of Oak Hill, Ohio, Lonnie McClellan II, of McArthur, Ohio and Lucian (Cathy) McClellan, of Lancaster, Ohio. Thirteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren also survive as does one brother, Johnnie (Margaret) McClellan, of East Lynn, West Virginia. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle McClellan, sisters, Sarah Frances Jackson, Marie Lycans, Beatrice Kucera, Ethel Mae Harkolivich, Georgia Vanhoose, Virgie England and Melinda Irene Maynard. Three brothers also preceded him in death, Sampie McClellan, Lucian McClellan and Andrew McClellan. In keeping with Lonnie's final wishes there are no calling hours or funeral service. Cremation services are entrusted to the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis.</text>
