            <text>Sarah Jane Hohman, 92, Gallipolis, Ohio (formerly of Rio Grande) passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Holzer Assisted Living, Gallipolis. She was born September 29, 1931 in The Diamond, Ohio, daughter of the late Lowell and Dorothy (Bookman) Tucker. Sarah was a Registered Nurse for more than 50 years, working at Holzer Medical Center and as a Nurse Midwife for many years. She embarked on several mission trips to help those less fortunate. Sarah was a member of Ohio Eastern Star Chapter #283, Gallipolis and Simpson Chapel Methodist Church, Rio Grande.&#13;

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Judy (Bob) Loucks, Colton, Oregon and James (Becky) Blazer, Patriot, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Sarah Blazer Nunn, Gallipolis, Ohio; grandchildren: Katherine (Travis) Hurst, David (Sarah) Loucks, Joseph Blazer III, Adam (Brittany) Blazer, Cooper Blazer, Josie Blazer and five great grandchildren.&#13;

In addition to her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by husbands Joe Blazer and Fritz Hohman, son Joey Blazer and two sisters, Donna Sullivan and Joyce Boudinot.&#13;

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, December 8, 2023 in Simpson Chapel Methodist Church, Rio Grande, Ohio with Pastor Dan Lamphier officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Rio Grande. Friends may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis Thursday, December 7 from 4:00-7:00 PM.</text>
