            <text>Betty Ann Baxter, 87, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Darst Group Home, Pomeroy, Ohio. Betty was born in Elkview, West Virginia, on August 11, 1936 to the late Wilbur and Orpha Woodruff.&#13;
&#13;
Betty married Robert L. Baxter and together, they shared sixty-seven years of marriage before his passing in October, 2018. A homemaker, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed writing poetry in her spare time and was a member of Grace Methodist Church, Gallipolis, Ohio for many years. Most of her life she spent caring for her husband, children and grandchildren who brought her the most joy.&#13;
&#13;
Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Becky Wright, Ben (Kathy) Baxter, both of Gallipolis and Vickie (Randy) Duncan, Apple Grove, West Virginia; grandchildren: Craig (Stacey) Wright, Natalie (Gary) Kirk, Jesse (Brittney) Baxter, Caroline Baxter and Sarah (James) Hash along with several great-grandchildren, extended family members and friends.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded by son, Bobby Baxter, five sisters and one brother and son-in-law, Ron Wright.&#13;
&#13;
Private services will be conducted for her family at their convenience with Entombment in The Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, is honored to serve the Baxter Family.</text>
