            <text>Moneka Michelle Jones, 40, Thurman, Ohio passed away suddenly Thursday, December 28, 2023. Moneka was born in Point Pleasant, West Virginia to the late Cindy Minnis on November 23, 1983. An employee of Integrated Services of Gallipolis, where she worked as a peer specialist, she was a member of Heritage Baptist Church, Gallipolis, Ohio. Moneka was loved by many and made a difference in other lives through her work and church functions, of which she will be deeply missed.&#13;
&#13;
Moneka leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, James Jones, who she married November 18, 2023 in Gallipolis; her son, Xayden Marshall, Thurman, Ohio; brother, Alex (Heather) Minnis, Texas; sister, Shelonda Hughes and aunt, Shirley Minnis, both of Bidwell, Ohio and nieces and nephews: Lana, Amaris and Annalese Minnis, Kaylee and Kelsey Jones as well as several co-workers and friends.&#13;

In addition to her mother, she was preceded by father, Gary White.&#13;
&#13;
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio with Pastor Tom Mollohan officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Street Cemetery, Gallipolis. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 11:00 AM-1:00 PM service time.</text>
