            <text>Joseph Bartoe, 66, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away at 10:17 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2023 in the Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born January 25, 1957 in Columbus, he was the son of the late Luther and Elizabeth Vanover Bartoe. He was a painter and enjoyed rebuilding car motors.&#13;
&#13;
He is survived by his girl friend of twenty-one years, Alice Carr, of Columbus, daughter, Nickeya Hornbeck, of Middleport, sons, Cody Bartoe, of Craig, Colorado, Samuel Nicholson, of North Carolina, and Cory Nicholson, of Pennsylvania, grandchildren, Myka Hornbeck, Brenden Hornbeck, Keoni Hornbeck, Brayden Bartoe, Masen Bartoe, Kolten Bartoe, and Jaxen Bartoe, a great-grandson, Axel Gangwer. A sister, Nancy (Larry) Staley, of Canal Winchester, and numerous nieces and nephews, also survive.&#13;

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Luther Bartoe, Jr.&#13;
&#13;
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 in the Sand Hill Cemetery, Long Bottom, with Pastor Buster Neace officiating. The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Racine is entrusted with the arrangements.</text>
