            <text>John E. Anderson, 82, of Racine, passed away, at 5:04 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at his residence. Born August 28, 1940, in Proctor, West Virginia he was the son of the late Albert and Ethel Dunham Anderson. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and belonged to the Operator Engineers Local 132 in Charleston, West Virginia. He was a United States Army Veteran and attended the North Bend Church.&#13;
&#13;
He is survived by his children: Barbara (Daniel) Montgomery, of Paden City, West Virginia, Mark (Sandy) Anderson, David (Lou Ann) Anderson and Donna (Steven) Lynch, all of New Martinsville, WV, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren and a special step-grandson, Jarrett Taylor. A brother, Robert Anderson, of Proctor, WV., sisters, Hazel Blair, Hilda Baxter, of Proctor, WV, and Mary McDaniels, of Phillipi, WV. And numerous nieces and nephews.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his wife, Luda “Sug” Anderson, brothers, Billy, Thomas, and Albert Anderson, and a sister, Susie Dorsett.&#13;
&#13;
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the North Bend Church on August 12, 2023. Interment will be in the Letart Falls Cemetery.  The Cremeens-King Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.</text>
