            <text>Roy Alan Moore, 71, of Hartford, West Virginia, passed away, at 6:41 a.m. on Sunday, November 5, 2023 in the Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. Born May 16, 1952, in Charleston, West Virginia, he was the son of the Late Harold and Charlotte Maddox Moore. He was a retired truck driver.&#13;
&#13;
He is survived by his wife, Janet Wilson Moore, whom he married on January 7, 1971, in Cabin Creek, West Virginia. His children, Susan Mines, of Georgia, Patricia Mines, of West Columbia, WV., Roy A. Moore II, of Hartford, WV., and Alena Marie Mines, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, twelve grandchildren, sisters, Gloria Ramsey, of Cedar Grove, WV., and Kay Williams, of Cabin Creek, WV., as well as numerous nieces and nephews also survive.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Harold Moore, Jr., and a sister, Patricia Keeney.&#13;
&#13;
Cremation services are entrusted to the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Pomeroy.</text>
