            <text>Paul Dean Evans, 61, of Portland, passed away, at 4:25 p.m. on Sunday, January 7, 2024 in the Holzer Meigs Emergency Department. Born January 1, 1963, in Portland he was the son of the late Paul Eugene and Merel VanMeter Evans. He was a mechanic he loved old cars, 70’s and 80’s rock, square body Chevy’s, and tinkering in his garage. He born and resided in the Stiversville community all his life. He went by many names Paul Dean, Dean Dean, or Pappy but most people called him their friend. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa, and friend. He was a great man and he will be truly missed by everyone that loved him.&#13;
&#13;
He is survived by his wife, Norma Evans, daughter, Holly Evans, grandsons, Gabriel Scoggan, Gavin Evans, Sage Evans, and Norman Evans. His mother-in-law, Kate Evans, sisters-in-law, JoAnn (Danny Pickens) Evans, Mary Evans, and Sandy (Bill) Williams, a brother-in-law, Norman “Brother” Evans, nephews, Nick Triplett, Sean Williams, and Levi Williams, great-nieces and great-nephews, Zoey Ross, Colton Williams, and Oliver Williams, and his best friends, Frank and Anna Nelson, and Mike and Cindy Conley also survive.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Norman Paul “Little Paul” Evans, and a nephew, Matthew Triplett.&#13;
&#13;
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Racine. Cremation services will follow.</text>
