            <text>Dorothy "Pat" Marie Mohr, 103, Gallipolis, passed away at 8:40 a.m. Thursday, February 22, 2024 on the Farm in Vinton, Ohio. Born May 26, 1920 in Colorado Springs, Colorado she was the daughter of the late William Good and Edna Marie Clark Van Gilder. Pat was a member of the Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church and a graduate of Marshall College. She was a school teacher in both the Putnam and Mason County School Districts. She was also a postal clerk at the Gallipolis Ferry, West Virginia Post Office and enjoyed being a farmer. She married Lawrence Blain Mohr on February 15, 1947 in Gallipolis, Ohio and he preceded her in death on&#13;
&#13;
November 11, 2009. Pat is survived by her son, Mark (Vickie) Mohr, of Vinton, and her daughter, Marie (Gary) Difilippantonio, of Newtown, Connecticut, her grandchildren, Beth (Ryan Evan) Hudson, of Gallipolis, Chris (Brooke) Mohr, of Gallipolis, Angelo (Jennifer) Gianni, of Ashville, North Carolina and Adele (Paul) Shelley, of Newtown, Connecticut, her great-grandchildren, Abigail Claire Brabham, Sophia “Sophie” Madison Hudson, Evelyn “Evie” Parker Hudson, Dorothea “Dottie” Evadene Mohr, Conner Wayne Dean Stone, Brandon Unger, Alexa Unger, Marcella Gianni and Malena Gianni. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents and husband, Pat was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Clifford and Violet Van Gilder, a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Guy Cain and sister, Betty Lohse.&#13;

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2024, in the Gravel Hill Cemetery in Cheshire. Officiating will be Rev. Neil Tennant. Interment will follow. In keeping with Pat’s request there are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to the District #2 Joint Volunteer Fire Department Dive Team, P.O. Box 208, Gallipolis, OH  45631.&#13;

Pat’s funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Cremeens-King Funeral Home.</text>
