            <text>Joseph David Novosel, 82, of Columbia Township, Meigs County, died unexpectedly Thursday, March 23, 2023 at his residence.&#13;
Born May 6, 1940 in Allison, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Charles and Catherine Kapolka Novosel. Joseph was a US Army veteran stationed in Germany. He was a member of the Teamsters for 33 years, a Mason, a member of the Isaac Walton League and Hocking Valley Sportsman Association. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed to do wood working.&#13;
He was survived by two sons, Justin (Deborah) Novosel and Martin (Stacie) Novosel; one grandson, Andrew; one sister, Francis Novosel and a companion Janet Gribble.&#13;
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Peter, Charles and Paul and one sister, Theresa.&#13;
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at School Lot Cemetery in Columbia Township, Meigs County, 29901 SR 143, Albany, Ohio 45710 where military services will be conducted. Services have been entrusted with the Ewing-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Pomeroy. Friends are encourage to sign the online guestbook at ewingfuneralhome.net.</text>
