            <text>Jimmy C. Caldwell, 78, of Racine, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Jackson General Hospital in Ripley WV.&#13;
Born April 7, 1944 in Tuppers Plains, Ohio, he was the son of the late Howard and Rubal Kincaid Caldwell. Jimmy graduated from Eastern High School in 1962, was a member of the Racine Baptist Church and retired from Dupont after 37 years of service. He was very active in organizing and coaching youth sports in Meigs County for many years. Jimmy was passionate about watching his grandchildren’s activities, loved attending sporting events and cheering on his sons basketball teams.&#13;
He is survived by two sons, Jimmy (Christina) Caldwell and Jeff (Alisa) Caldwell; one daughter, Jodi Fisher; five grandchildren, Jesse, Xander, Katie, Ella and Connor; one brother, Howard Caldwell and several nieces and nephews including special nephews Troy Guthrie and Howie Caldwell.&#13;
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Torrence Caldwell in 2013.&#13;
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at the Racine Baptist Church in Racine with Pastor Duke Holbert officiating. Burial will follow in the Tuppers Plains Christian Cemetery in Tuppers Plains, Ohio. Visitation will be at the Racine Baptist Church on Monday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 PM and on Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Southern Boys Basketball Program c/o Southern High School Athletic Boosters, 920 Elm Street, Racine, OH. 45771. Friends are encouraged to sign the online guestbook at ewingfuneralhome.net. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Ewing-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio.</text>
