            <text>Michael J. Deddens, 65 of Athens, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 6, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.&#13;
Born February 14, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky, he was the son of the late John Francis and Eileen Adore Clark Deddens. Michael was loved and admired by many and touched many peoples lives in a caring way. He was a loving husband and father who cherished spending time with his friends and family.&#13;
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Angel Smith Deddens ; seven children, Allison Deddens, Kathryn (Robert) Rushton, Jennifer Deddens, Andrew (Phoebe) Deddens, Kenzi Sweeney, Kasie Sweeney and Korey Sweeney; two grandchildren, Aurora and Arlo; three brothers, Carl (Peggy) Deddens, Bill (Lisa) Deddens and Mark (Tammy) Deddens; one sister, Karen (Kevin) Crotty.&#13;
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at the Deddens residence, 6000 Radford Road, Athens, Ohio. All are welcome to bring a covered dish and parking is limited so you are asked to carpool if at all possible.. Friends are encouraged to sign the online guestbook at Ewingfuneralhome.net. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Ewing-Schwarzel Funeral Home. When a time is announced for the service the website will be updated.</text>
