            <text>Mickale Hill, 30, of Pomeroy, Ohio, unexpectedly passed away the morning of July 19, 2023.&#13;
A memorial service will be held at 5 P.M., Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Ewing-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio, with Pastor Byron Fisher officiating.&#13;
Mickale was born in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, to Bettina Brown and Mark Hammonds on March 24, 1993. He graduated from Meigs High School in 2011 and attended college at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, where he welcomed the birth of his daughter. Returning home to provide for his family, later to welcome his son and becoming a stay-at-home dad.&#13;
His interests included family, game nights with friends and friendly debates. He devoted much of his time and energy as a caregiver to his son. His charm and smile improved every conversation with an enlightened outlook.&#13;
Mickale was preceded in death by his father, Mark Hammonds of Pomeroy, Ohio and grandfather, John Hill of Point Pleasant, West Virginia.&#13;
He is survived by his children Annexzandria Dawn Hill and Alexander Lee Ray Hill; mother Bettina Brown; siblings Gabriel Hill and Lillian Hill; grandmother Bette Hill; uncle Jon Hill and family; aunts Brandi and Ed Fisher and family; Lacy Satterfield and family; and dearest and closest friends, Mary and Joseph Forester and wife, among many others he loved dearly and held close.&#13;
The family of Mickale wishes to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has donated and shared their memories with our Mickey.&#13;
