            <text>Christopher McKinney, 60, of Pomeroy, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Arbors of Pomeroy.&#13;
Born July 26, 1963 in Gallipolis, Ohio, he was the son of the late William and Carla Burns McKinney. Christopher was a 1981 graduate of Meigs High School and United States Navy veteran. He worked for Electro Craft as a machinist for many years and was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing.&#13;
He is survived by two sons, Jared (Lynsi) McKinney and Treay (Megan) McKinney; one daughter, Bethany (Todd) Rizer; eight grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kylie, Landon, Easton, Liam, Gibson, Brinley and Kimber; one brother, John (Sheila) McKinney and one sister, Angela Smith.&#13;
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jeff and Bill: one sister, Anna and a grandson, Braiden.&#13;
A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.&#13;
Arrangements have been entrusted with the Ewing-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Pomeroy.</text>
