<text>Betty Fowler Wilson, 86, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Overbrook Rehabilitation Center in Middleport.
Born September 10, 1937 in Mason, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Arnold and Esther Bugg Fowler. Betty enjoyed many of life’s simple things…bowling, flee markets, shopping and a good piece of candy. She had a real passion for traveling, her grandchildren and all the men she’d loved before.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Wilson (Craig Fife); four sons, Carl Jr (Becky), Michael (Diann), Andy (Phillis) and James (Geri); thirteen grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Fay and one brother Donald Fowler.
A celebration of life will be held at 6:00PM on Friday, January 5, 2024 at the Ewing-Schwarzel Family Center in Pomeroy with John Swanson officiating. A meal will follow the service. A gathering of friends will take place from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Ewing-Schwarzel Family Center.</text>
