            <text>Rebecca Marshall, 68, of Pomeroy, went to be with the Lord Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.&#13;
&#13;
Born October 8, 1955, in Gallipolis, Ohio, she was the daughter of Ruth Ann Smith and the late Homer B. Smith.  Rebecca enjoyed planting flowers, sewing and being a homemaker.  She cherished spending time with her grandchildren.  &#13;
&#13;
Besides her mother, she is survived by her loving husband, Dane Marshall; one son, Raymond John Ward; one stepdaughter, Jamie Mitchan (Joshua); several grandchildren; two sisters, Diana (Michael) Ohlinger and Connie (Tom) Roush; one brother, Homer Smith Jr and several nieces and nephews. &#13;
&#13;
Besides her father, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathleen Smith and Teresa Jeffers and grandparents, Oma and Pearl Smith and Kathleen and Basil Cremeans..&#13;
&#13;
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the Ewing Funeral Home in Pomeroy with Pastor Phil Foster officiating.  Burial will be in the Beech Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Thursday evening from 4:00 PM until the time of service.  </text>
