He was the son of Calvin R. Benson and Martha O'Dell (Lyda) Benson&#13;
&#13;
&#13;
&#13;
He loved spending time with family and friends and riding his Harley Davidson and fishing.&#13;
&#13;
&#13;
&#13;
He is survived by his brother Kenneth J. Benson of Counce, TN, stepson Joe Magurn and stepdaughter Kimberly Magurn of Baltimore, MD, grandchildren Meaghan D. Hacker, Joseph Magurn, Charles A. Magurn of Baltimore, MD, nieces Shanna S. Baak and Brandy Clark of Munford, TN, Leah Shavers of Memphis,TN, nieces Sara Benson and and Starlett Benson of Counce, TN as well as 1 great niece, 5 great nephews and 2 great great nieces as well as extended family and numerous friends&#13;
&#13;
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Shirley M. Benson and sister Tammy Benson</text>
