Roberta Sue Miller, 74, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2023. She was born November 25, 1948, in Terra Alta, WV to the late Robert and Jackie (Dodge) Vought.
Sue is survived by her sister, Debby (Doug) Bashaw; daughters, Jamie (Mike Taylor) Standridge and Shelly (Chuck) Wotring; son, Richie (Tara) Miller; and Grandchildren, Chase Jarrell, Blake Jarrell, Bryce Jarrell, Jon Standridge, Johannah Standridge, and Gabe Miller.
Sue grew up in Terra Alta before moving with her family to Ravenswood, WV, in 1955-56. After graduating from Ravenswood High School in 1967, Sue worked as a
bank clerk for many years, and eventually retired as a secretary of the City of
Ravenswood after many years of service.
Sue's passions included cooking, sewing, watching soaps, and loving her grandchildren. She also had many beloved pets over the years, most recently including one of her favorites, Sugar. She was and is very loved and will be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
