Reggie Kenneth Conley, 76, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023.
He was born on July 19, 1946 in Mingo County, West Virginia, to Homer C. Conley and Zelta A. Browning Conley.
He played basketball and softball. He liked to collect classic cars. Reggie coached girls and boys basketball, coached girls softball, and assisted with boys football. He was a teacher for 35 years in West Virginia schools. He was Pentecostal by faith. “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life; he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” John 11: 25, 26.
Reggie is survived by one brother, Steven P. Conley of Virginia Beach, VA; two sisters, Linda L. Conley of Ravenswood, WV, and Sherry A. Johnson of Pittsburgh, PA.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 11:00 am at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood, WV, with Pastor Conrad Marcum officiating.
Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Thursday, July 13, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Reggie, to Roush Funeral Home, P.O. Box 933, Ravenswood, WV 26164.
