She was born on April 15, 1929 in Ravenswood, WV, daughter of the late Joseph A. and Rachel Elizabeth Hunt McMurray. Jackie was the owner/operator of Ravenswood Memorial Works for over 30 years, beginning in 1949. She is survived by her stepson, Forrest Poston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Poston; and her stepsons, Greg and Gary Poston. The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood with Pastor Don Maxson officiating. Burial will follow in Ravenswood Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Friday, June 30, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any organization that helps animals.
