            <text>Eddie Russell Jr, age 85, of Chester, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday February 11th, 2024 at Darst Private Care Home with family by his side.  He was born on May 14th, 1938 in West Columbia, WV. He was the son of the late Eddie Russell and Virginia Boothe Russell.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Tammy Russell, brothers, Harold Russell, Delbert ‘Peewee’ Russell, Grant Russell, Alfred Russell, and Errol Russell and by his sisters; Nellie Rose, Mary Ann Cundiff, Rita Windle, Charlotte Crawford, Lois Ann Young, Carol Workman, and Judy Lieving.&#13;

Eddie was a retired Ironworker and member of Ironworkers Local #787.  He was a member of the VFW of Mason, WV, the American Legion of New Haven, WV, and the Forked Run Gun Club of Reedsville, OH.  He spent many of his days with friends and family at his farm on Owl Hollow Road, Tuppers Plains, Ohio. &#13;

He is survived by his son, Eddie Lee (Lois) Russell, daughter, Eddena (Tyler) Roberts; 3 grandchildren Tiffany, Jenna and Christina; 2 great-grandchildren Salem and Tyson; brothers Ralph (Lyda) Russell, Joe (Peggy) Russell; and sisters Joyce Rickard and Linda (Kenny) Reynolds; special niece LeighAnn Handley and several other nieces and nephews. &#13;
&#13;
Funeral services will be at noon on Friday February 16th, 2024 at Anderson-McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, OH with visitation 11am-noon; his brother, Ralph Russell, officiating. Burial will follow at Meigs Memory Gardens in Pomeroy, Ohio. </text>
