            <text>Julia ”Judy” Kennedy passed away peacefully on May 15, 2024, at WVU Medical Center (Parkersburg) with her family by her side. A graduate of Wahama High School class of 1961. She worked at Robbins and Meyers, Rockwell Automation, and Electrocraft as an electric motor builder doing various phases of manufacturing. She was a dedicated employee for almost 33 years.     &#13;
&#13;
   She married Leo “JR” Kennedy, JR. on August 27, 1961. They had two children Anthony “Tony” Kennedy and Tamara “Tammy” Kennedy. She has two grandchildren Augustus “Gus” Kennedy and Lorena “Sis” Kennedy.&#13;
&#13;
   She is preceded in death by her husband, Leo Kennedy, daughter Tamara “Tammy” Kennedy, parents Andrew and Martina Van Matre, sisters Marlene Hutchinson and Helen Mawhirter. Survived by son Tony Kennedy (Janel), sister Linda Newland (Grant) and their daughter Alyssa and grandchildren Gus and Lorena Kennedy. Nieces and Nephews Christopher, Denene, Dennis II Hutchinson and Jason Mawhirter.&#13;
&#13;
   She was an active member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Tuppers Plains. She enjoyed showing horses and attending and participating in the many activities her grandchildren were involved in. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the St. Paul United Methodist Church in her name.&#13;
&#13;
   There will be a celebration of life on  August 31, 2024 at 12:00pm at the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Tuppers Plains.</text>
