            <text>Brenda Joyce Haggy passed away on September 12, 2024, at Select Specialty Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on August 28, 1951, in Mason, West Virginia, to Maxine Lee Stapleton and the late Virgil Ray Lee. She was a member of the VFW Post #9926, Mason, WV.   &#13;

Brenda is survived by her daughters, Shellie (Adam Tillis) Maurer and Kellie (Tim) Helton; her grandchildren, Bradley Helton, Zachary Helton, Aleigha Tillis, and Tyler Tillis; her mother, Maxine Lee Stapleton; and her siblings, Greg (Shelia) Lee, Diana (Terry) Bumgardner, Jimmy Lee as well as several nieces and nephews.&#13;

She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Ray Lee; her brother, Jimmy Lee Sr.; and her husbands, Larry Maurer, Don Guthrie, and Walt Haggy.&#13;

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio. Visitation will take place two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Bradford Cemetery.&#13;
&#13;
 &#13;
 A gathering for family and friends will be held after the funeral at Maranatha Cornerstone Church, 628 White Church Rd, Letart, WV 25253. The family invites everyone to come and share memories.</text>
