            <text>David Scott Ridgway of Racine, Ohio passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024 at his residence.   He was born on October 4, 1958 in Gallipolis, Ohio to the late Dr. John and Hattie Ridgway.  Dave worked and retired from Powell's Foodfair.   He love to spend time fishing, watching dirt track racing, working in his garden, helping the food pantry and playing his guitar in church.  Dave also served his country in the United States Navy.  &#13;

He is survived by his son, Jake (Samantha) Ridgway; siblings, Diane (Tim) Wamsly, Jay Ridgway, Jeff (Jan) Ridgway, Mary (John) Hoffman; special aunt, Mary Jane Gress; special friends, Tom Shikner and Jimmy McClure; special nephew, Adam Jenkins and several nieces and nephews and grand Pup Tucker. &#13;

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, John Ridgway Jr and sister, Jackie Woodby.  &#13;

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at 11:00am at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy with Louise Michael officiating.   Burial will follow at the Graham Cemetery in New Haven.   Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 6-8:00pm at the funeral home.&#13;

Dave volunteered many hours a week to help fight hunger in Meigs County.  In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in his name to the Food Pantry/Blessing Boxes, Mulberry Center, 260 Mulberry Ave, Pomeroy, Ohio 45769</text>
