            <text>Sharon L. Prior Smith, 61, of Middleport, Ohio, passed away suddenly December 30, 2024. Born in Fulton, NY on March 29,1963, Sharon was the daughter of Harold and Juanita Prior.&#13;
&#13;
She was the beloved wife of David F. Smith for 42 years and loving mother to their son Steven K. Smith. Sharon found immense joy in the company of their grandchildren Ella and Case smith, who were the light of her life.&#13;
&#13;
Sharon is survived by her: husband, David F. Smith; son, Steven K. Smith; mother-in-law, Betty Smith; sister-in-law, Debbie Gallagher (Steve Halley); sister-in-law, Mary (Guy) Schuler; several nieces and nephews; and host of newly found family members.&#13;
&#13;
Sharon's hobbies included crafting and reading by the lake with their dog Lilly while David fished. She cherished moments with her family, especially her grandchildren, and found peace and contentment in the simplest pleasure's in life.&#13;
&#13;
She was preceded in death by her: parents, Harold and Juanita Prior; brother, Brian Prior; and her father-in-law, Charles "Smitty" Smith.&#13;
&#13;
The family wanted to acknowledge her life long friends who she loved and cherished dearly Dale and Malynda Young and special family members Josh, Candice, Skylar, Aubrey, Peyton and Hunter.&#13;
&#13;
A celebration of life will be held on January 11, 2025 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Nazarene Church at 468 Main St. Rutland, OH 45775. Food will be provided, and all who knew Sharon are welcome to attend and share in honoring her memory. In lieu of flowers the family will accept donations to help with funeral expenses.</text>
