            <text>Dorothy "Marie" Smith of Mason West Virginia passed away on Thursday February 27, 2025 . She was born on February 05, 1944 in Logan West Virginia to the Alfred and Louise (Higgenbothem) Ruschel.&#13;
&#13;
She was an avid crafter, a member of the Lions Club of Belpre, as well as a member of the Mason UMC.&#13;
&#13;
Marie was a loving Mother of her Daughters Debbie Leach, Mary Beth (Greg) Dobbs grandchildren Heather Lavender, LaTricia (Wesley) Meadows, Gerald Dobbs, and John Dobbs, as well as 5 great grandchildren, sisters Shelly Goodwin, and  Rita Ruschel, several nieces and nephews, a special friend and sister-in-law Angela Smith and sister-in-law Donna Jean Smith and brother Biz (Gracie) Ruschel&#13;
&#13;
Besides her Parents she was preceded in death by her husband David Smith, brother Bill Dartey, several brother and sisters-in-law.   &#13;
&#13;
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.</text>
