            <text>Idris Yvonne Halley, 86, of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Holzer Senior Care.  Idris was born on October 30, 1938 in Gallia County, Ohio, daughter of the late Homer Jennings and Ruth M. Saunders Halley.  &#13;
&#13;
Idris was a graduate of Fairland High School Class of 1957.  She was a former insurance agent in Columbus, Ohio and started her career in Gallipolis, Ohio with Howard Baker Saunders.  Idris was a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, and she enjoyed being around her family.&#13;
&#13;
Idris is survived by four sisters, Linda (Roger) Puckett of Bidwell, Ohio, Karen Wills of Gallipolis, Ohio, and Pam (Jim) Swain and Vickie (Van) Willford both of Crown City, Ohio; one brother, Kent (Christine) Halley of Bakersfield, California; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Idris was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Ella Halley; brother, Allen Brent Halley; sister-in-law, Carolyn Halley; and brother-in-law, Ron Wills.&#13;

The funeral service for Idris will be held at noon on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Bowers officiating.  Her burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery.  Friends may call on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at Willis Funeral Home.  Idris's family would like to thank Dr. Christopher Marazon, Holzer Assisted Living, and Holzer Senior Care for their care for their sister.</text>
