            <text>Marlin W. Wedemeyer, 84, of Bidwell, Ohio, left this world to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 19, 2024.&#13;
&#13;
Born on January 26, 1940 in Cadmus, Ohio, Marlin was the son of the late Walter R. and Amy Reese Wedemeyer.  Marlin married Donna Simpson Wedemeyer, who survives him in Bidwell.  He retired from Holzer Medical Canter with 37 years of service as a Maintenance Engineer.  Marlin was a graduate of Southwestern High School Class of 1958 and a member of New Life Church of God.  He was an auctioneer from 1983-1998, a former mayor of the Village of Rio Grande, and a former pastor of Pyro Chapel in Oak Hill, Ohio.  Marlin loved his family, his church, and traveling.&#13;
&#13;
Marlin is survived by his wife of 23 years, Donna Wedemeyer of Bidwell, Ohio; daughters, Shari (Tom) Wooten of Port Charlotte, Florida, Lisa (David) Burleson of Gallipolis, Ohio, and Amy (Jeff) Wahl of Gallipolis; grandson, Lawrence (Emily) Wedemeyer of Ona, West Virginia; stepchildren, Lisa (David) Baker of Gallipolis, Monica (Orland) Hartley of Parkersburg, West Virginia, Jason (Jennifer) Coleman of Oak Hill, and Jessica (Braxton) Adkins of AFB Grand Forks, North Dakota; seventeen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sister, Lottie Lou Long of Gallipolis; and several nieces and nephews.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to his parents, Marlin was preceded in death by his brothers, Ray Wedemeyer and Jack Wedemeyer.&#13;
&#13;
The funeral service for Marlin will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor David Browning and Pastor Michael Kemp officiating.  His burial will follow in Mound Hill Cemetery.  Friends and family may call prior to the service Saturday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.&#13;

Pallbearers will be Lawrence Wedemeyer, David Burleson, Jeff Wahl, Tom Wooten, Alden Wedemeyer, and Lee Wedemeyer.</text>
