            <text>James T. "J.T." Smith, Jr., 55, of Grove City, Ohio, formerly of Newark, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at his residence.  J.T. was born on January 3, 1970 in Columbus, Ohio, son of Alice F. Walker Redmond who survives and the late James T. Smith, Sr.&#13;
&#13;
J.T. enjoyed drawing and attended Pleasant View Baptist Church in Grove City, Ohio.  Last year, J.T. was an employee of the State Route 665 Grove City McDonalds.  He is survived by his mother, Alice F. Redmond of Grove City; one sister, Rebecca Smith of Columbus, Ohio; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Eva Walker.&#13;
&#13;
The funeral service for J.T. will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Truman Johnson officiating.  His burial will be in Mound Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call at Willis Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until the time of the service on Tuesday.</text>
