            <text>Helen F. Patterson, 87, of Bidwell, Ohio, passed away on January 14, 2025 at Abbyshire Place. She was born the daughter of Willie and Belle Bailey Lawson on August 4, 1937 in Gainesboro, Tennessee. Helen was married to Archie Joseph Patterson who preceded her in death in 2016. She spent her career as a nursing assistant at Holzer for twenty years.&#13;
&#13;
Helen is survived by her children, Donna (Lester) Combs of Culloden, West Virginia, Mitchell (Konni) Potts of New Bern, North Carolina, and Russell Potts of Patriot, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Debbie Potts of Xenia, Ohio; stepson, Joey Bates of Mason County, West Virginia; stepdaughter, Leah Patterson of Mason County, West Virginia; thirteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to her parents and her husband, Helen was preceded in death by her children, Michael Potts and Tammy Cook; son-in-law, Tom Cook; and sister, Elizabeth Young.&#13;
&#13;
A funeral service for Helen will be held at Willis Funeral Home on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. with Chaplain Steve Curry officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Due to weather, there will be no graveside services. Burial will be later in Ohio Valley Memory Gardens.</text>
