            <text>With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ruby F. Wells Caldwell, 84, who passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025. Ruby was born on August 11, 1940 in Gallia County, Ohio, daughter of the late Everett Stanley and Rena Rice Wells.&#13;
&#13;
To know Ruby was to love her. Ruby was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a beautiful soul who would help anyone. Her generosity knew no bounds, and her radiant smile lit up any room she entered. She lived life to the fullest and especially loved spending time with her family.&#13;
&#13;
On February 1, 1969, Ruby married Charles Howard Caldwell who preceded her in death in 2022. In addition to her parents and husband, Ruby was preceded in death also by a son, Charles Glenn Caldwell; three brothers in infancy, Frank, Travis, and Charles Wells; and four brothers, Bernard Ray Wells, Everett Wells, Jr., Otis Wayne Wells, and Howard Richard Wells.&#13;
&#13;
Ruby is survived by a son, Howard Lee (La.Costa) Caldwell of Gallipolis, Ohio; four grandchildren, Kara Nicole Caldwell, Charles Casey Caldwell, Katelynn Brook Caldwell-Hill (Austin Hill), and Caden Caldwell; two great grandchildren, Aubrey Hill and Reid Hill; one brother, Harley Lee "Dee" Wells of Gallipolis; and one sister, Dorothy Elizabeth Wells Flint of Crown City, Ohio.&#13;
&#13;
A memorial service honoring the life of Ruby will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Willis Funeral Home with Minister Arnold Jackson officiating. Her burial will be in Kings Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.</text>
