            <text>Johnny M. Dixon, Jr., 87, of Versailles, Kentucky, formerly of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.&#13;
&#13;
Born on September 17, 1937 in Ashland, Kentucky, Johnny was the son of the late Johnny M. Dixon, Sr. and Charlotte Bishop Dixon.  Johnny married Patricia Ann Dixon; they were married for 51 years before she preceded him in death on March 14, 2013. Johnny had served in the US Air Force and had been employed by Gavin Power Plant.&#13;
&#13;
Johnny is survived by his daughter, Sharri (Mark) Pearson of Versailles, Kentucky; son, Ralph (Sabrina) Dixon of Princeton, West Virginia; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Dixon of Gallipolis, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Johnny (Brandy) Dixon IV, Heather (Paez) Torres, Kristin (Steve) Clark, Kyle (Morgan) Pearson, Brooke (Aaron) Pearson, Todd Dixon, and Haylee Dixon; and thirteen great grandchildren.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to his parents and his wife, Johnny was preceded in death by a son, John M. “Marty” Dixon III; three sisters; and two brothers.&#13;
&#13;
The funeral service for Johnny will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Willis Funeral Home with Minister Derek Stump officiating.  Military honors will be provided by the Gallia County Funeral Detail at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Ohio Valley Memory Gardens.  Friends and family may call prior to the service Saturday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.</text>
