            <text>Robert V. “Bob” Holland, 87, of Cheshire, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at his residence.&#13;
&#13;
Born on January 5, 1938 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, Bob was the son of the late Tennant and Virginia Adkins Holland.  On December 21, 1963, Bob married Carolyn Mulford Holland, who survives him in Cheshire.  Bob graduated from Point Pleasant High School, served in the US Army, and retired from Century Aluminum.  He attended River of Life Methodist Church and was a member of American Legion Post 128, Middleport, Ohio.  In earlier years, Bob was active in his children’s sports coaching several teams and enjoyed traveling with frequent trips to Amish Country and Myrtle Beach.&#13;

Bob is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carolyn Holland of Cheshire; daughter, Deborah (Chip) Caldwell of Bidwell, Ohio; grandchildren, Caitlin (Josh) Davis of Ashland, Kentucky and Colton Caldwell of Bidwell; brother, Clarence Ray Holland of Gallipolis Ferry, West Virginia; sister, Phyllis Sargent of Point Pleasant, West Virginia; sisters-in-law, Sandra Mulford of Gallipolis and Nancy Holland of Point Pleasant, West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his son, Michael Holland in 2006 and his brother, Bill Holland.&#13;
&#13;
The funeral service for Bob will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Fisher officiating.  Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery.  Friends and family may call prior to the service Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.&#13;
