            <text>Mary E. Whealdon, 64, of Patriot, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at her residence.&#13;
&#13;
Born on January 15, 1961 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, Mary was the daughter of the late Vernon E. and Jemima Job Transeau Stanley.  Mary married David Whealdon, and he survives her in Patriot.  She graduated from Southwestern High School and Buckeye Hills Career Center. Mary was a former manager of Dollar General Stores and a member of the former Lecta Church of Christ in Christian Union.  She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and playing guitar and piano.  Mary was a bird and nature lover.&#13;
&#13;
Mary is survived by her husband of 44 years, David Whealdon of Patriot; daughter, Jessica Whealdon (Philip Webb) of Mudsoc, Ohio; son, Jeremy Whealdon (Tillie Hicks) of Patriot; four grandchildren, Wayne (Shyann) Watson, Jadelynn Watson, Xander Webb, and Wesley Whealdon; three great grandchildren, Annalee Watson, Emerson Watson, and Carolina Jones; siblings, Tom (Carolyn) Stanley of Patriot, Jack Stanley (Hazel) of Patriot, Margaret Avery of Pedro, Ohio, Kathy Harrison of Crown City, Ohio, and Linda (Joe) O’Dell of Gallipolis; and several nieces and nephews.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brothers, Vonley Cline Stanley, Ralph Stanley, and Tony Stanley; sister, Judy Mae Beiler, brothers-in-law, Gene Avery and Wayne Harrison; and sister-in-law, Debbie Stanley.&#13;
&#13;
A Graveside Service will be held for Mary at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Whealdon Family Cemetery in Patriot, Ohio with Pastor Heath Jenkins officiating.  Friends may call prior to the service Friday from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at Willis Funeral Home.</text>
